Students devise and direct selected stories. They learn the process
of creating a story from narration to dramatization. Students learn theatrical techniques and skill exercises that are used
by directors, actors and students of drama proper but which are also appropriate for those who need to increase their listening,
pronunciation and confidence in their English ability. This course is for theatre majors and minors, English literature
majors and minors and for all all other majors as long as you are interested in an artistic adventure.

This course is designed to introduce students to the fundamentals
of theatre and increase confidence and fluency in the English language. Students learn to effectively communicate in
English in order to express their thoughts, opinions and ideas with others. While producing perfroming and directing their
tales, students will cover all the principles of drama, including rehearsal and performance techniques.
Class will
be divided into groups. The groups will work both separately and together on a number of shorter projects based
on weekly provocations and different theatrical territories. (Comedy, Parody, Tragedy etc.) In the end of the term, the participants
will have the chance to write, produce and present their projects based on the dramatic territory and fairy tale of their
own selection.
