Class	Activity	Preparation for next week
Week 1, March 5	General Introduction	1. Bring photo, clear file 2. Design a cover sheet for your portfolio.  Create a visual story in a collage.  This can be abstract and does not have to be hand drawn.  You can use photos, magazine scraps, etc.- have fun with this and be creative.  Do an internet search for storytelling.  Write down three sites you find and a short summary (a line or two) about what is useful. You will share them with your classmates.  Print and Read  (Below) Course Description What is Storytelling? Week 2	Review curriculum, share Portfolio stories, internet resourses, review article, aesop activity	Choose a short tale with a moral.  The author might be Aesop or you can even translate a Korean author   Come to class with it memorized.  Remember to include actions and voices.  Be creative... bring a prop or???
Week 3	Presentation and evaluation of stories.	prepare and memorize your assigned story.  do your story evaluation.
Week 4	discuss stories with your partner.  present four lines.  essentialize movement exercise.  personal storytelling activity.	TBA
Week 5	No Class	Rehearse story for presentation
Week 6	Perform stories.  Use small simple props or costume.
