Class 1, March 5th	Introduction	Homework: Bring a clear file portfolio Bring your picture (make sure you look like your picture!) Print the activities below: Welcome to the stage Class Information Final Project Information Theatre terms
Class 2	Stage directions, theatre language, intro to final project, you must choose your script and group by week 5.	Homework: Study an animal.    Watch the movement of an animal either in person or on TV (You may use the internet if you find a clip longer then 15 minutes).  It is also possible to use a movie about animals (Not animation :)).  Write about what you saw.  Be very specific.  What is the animal’s posture?  How does he move?  When does he move?  Why does he move?  Can you imagine what he is thinking?  Think of your own questions too!  Write at least 15 sentences. This is worth 30 points.
Week 3	Animal improvisations	Prepare animal improvisation with words.  70% animal!
Week 4	Present homework.  I like cheese warm-up. Good Morning Improvisation if time permits.	Choose your script!  Look on this website for some advice.  You can click on the scripts page.  Print the document below. Project Proposal Sheet
Week 5	Your scripts should be chosen!  Bring your scripts to class.  Choose your groups in class!  Get it approved by Denise.	Email me with your script choices!
